Xenith is the deceased third sister of the Pyrean gods. Her death initiated the Dark Days.

Biography

Pre-Dark Days

Before Nox grew unhappy with only having a bit of the day/night cycle, she wanted to (somehow) gain more by killing Xenith, the weaker between Axura and Xenith. When Axura was distracted, she was assassinated by Nox. Axura was mad, and seeked to stop Nox. Her feathers became stars.

Etymology

'Xenith' is a form of 'Zenith', the highest point, usually in a celestial sense.
